  Simply put, the worst experience I have ever had with a car dealer. When we originally went to view a car here we were advised to pay the £200 reservation fee to take it off sale while we pondered our decision for 24 hours - fair enough, and we did this. The next day we went back for a test drive and further look at the car with some family members. When we found some unexpected issues with the car during the test drive we asked for these to be fixed and for our £200 to be refunded until we are happy with the condition of the car. To our surprise we were then told that they would fix the problems for us but we couldn't have our money back because they had ALREADY taxed the vehicle in my fiancé's name and requested a V5 to be sent to our address - rather assumptive! From this stage we have had such a long battle with this dealership that I wouldn't want to bore readers with the amount I could write! Salespeople up to the 'senior' management at Evans Halshaw Banbury have in summary been rude, slow to respond, accusing and in general a real frustration to deal with. I finally received my money back and after FIVE WEEKS I have received the V5 through in the post. The team there seem to have sold the car already (even with the V5 still en route to me) and have been all over me like a rash since finding another buyer - shocking (sarcastic, of course) that when they get a sniff at a commission they're on the ball and chasing like mad men. This morning I had 15 missed calls, 2 voicemails and 2 text messages from representatives at Evans Halshaw Banbury chasing and accusing ME of holding this process up now that they are attempting to sell the car again. I have registered my complaints with their Customer Care team at Head Office and will be following through all the way.
